Winter - it's just snot nice!
Okay so we're getting to that time of year when the winter woollies get pulled out from the back of the cupboard & the bathroom cabinet gets stocked with those supersoft eucalyptus scented extra large boxes of tissues in nervous anticipation of what's to come. It's also that same time of year when we dread sitting next to that guy on the train with the red nose & touching the same door handle as the lady with the hanky in her hand. Who wants to get sick because some other person hasn't been considerate enough to stay home with their crusty nostrils or sneezes into open space like there's no such thing as an elbow & WHATEVER YOU DO don't land those lips on others if there's any sign whatsoever of a sniffle or snot! Good news is that there are precautions that you can take, like letting your co worker stay home when they're unwell & using a paper towel to open the bathroom door in public toilets & then there's other common sense stuff like eating lots of fruit & vegetables, exercising regularly & maintaining a healthy nervous system through your chiropractic adjustments. In fact increase stress from lack of good spinal motion may lead to altered measures of immune function & increased susceptibility.. Just another reason why it's so important to keep up with regular Modern Chiropractic care.
